Thin cut for Yakiniku, Japanese BBQ style preparation.

A5 Wagyu has a minimum Marble Score of 9 (MS9). Here is an affordable way too enjoy top level Wagyu. This small section cut is prepared from the brisket, and is sought after for its creamy and almost sweet flavour. Goes well with rice and a sweet savoury sauce (or salt & sesame oil, or soy sauce & wasabi, or salt & pepper). See * Cooking Instructions below.

Our Beef is imported from Australia, trimmed, portioned and safely vacuum wrapped by us locally, delivered frozen; Able to be stored in the freezer for up to 4 months.

Delivery

• Mostly in stock and ready to deliver the next day. Orders received by 3 pm delivered by 6pm the day next day.

• Thaw overnight in refrigerator
• Wipe hot grill with Wagyu Fat cube supplied (using other oils can modify the flavour)
• Transfer meat direct from refrigerator to grill so marbling fat still firm
• If able to cook with very hot pan, BBQ plate or open flame grill, some 10-20 seconds on the first side and 5-10 seconds on the other, as needed to give a good sear and just cooked medium, no more.
